A web app for Spanish Fork City, Utah, that makes mental-health support and suicide-prevention resources easy to reach.
The problem
Spanish Fork ranked among the Utah cities most affected by suicide. Despite the city's awareness efforts, people who needed support still didn't have easy access to it.
How it works
The project started with an analysis of the city's current efforts and the gap they left: people who needed support couldn't find it easily.
The app was built with ASP.NET in Visual Studio, used Bootstrap to adapt to every screen, Google Maps for locations, and an AWS Lightsail virtual machine for test hosting.
The project files were handed off to Spanish Fork City on completion.
